A collection of tips showing some useful features of iPad with iOS 9.
Check battery use and storage
To see battery usage, go to Settings > Battery. Tap the Show Detailed Usage Data button to see more detail.
To view storage used, go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage.
Manage your inbox faster
Manage multiple messages at once. Tap Edit, select some messages, then tap Mark, Move, or Trash.
Remove webpage clutter
Reader in Safari makes articles easier to read. When you see the Reader button in the search field, tap it to see just the text and photos — without ads.
Forward a message
Touch and hold a message bubble, then tap More. Select the bubbles you want to forward then tap the Forward button..
Use Siri hands-free
Simply say “Hey Siri” and ask for what you need.
Reduce eye strain at night
iPad can automatically alter display colors for better viewing at night. Schedule Night Shift to turn on from sunset to sunrise in Settings > Display & Brightness.
Have Siri do the math
Just ask “How much is 32% of 75?” Siri can add, subtract, and divide, too.
See when a message was sent
Drag a message bubble to the left to see when it was sent.
Have iPad speak to you
iPad can speak selected text, or the entire screen. Explore the options in Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech. See the iPad User Guide for info.
Share an Apple Music playlist
To share a playlist with others, tap the Actions button, then tap the Share button and choose a sharing option.
